Hey gang!
Phew... talk about putting in the hours. I've been doing 14-15hr work days to get these packages out prior to my trip to Brazil for a few weeks and I really hope to get everything shipped by then.
But man... it's a lot! Hahaha
I love this process as tiresome as it is. I don't complain one bit about having to ship over 600 packages. It just shows how awesome you all are, how supportive and how trustful.
As always, I have to thank you for an amazing Kickstarter and I hope to honor your pledges with a fantastic product! I'm shipping out about 250 packages today, all domestic, and they should be arriving sometime next week.
I think you'll be surprised... I really do!
I will continue to do my absolute best to ship 100% of rewards but it will be tight. Wish me luck and stay tuned for news :D
LAST WEEK TO JUMP ON THE FEW AND CURSED #4 KICKSTARTER
I know a lot of you are waiting to get your Chronicles rewards in the mail before pledging on a new Kickstarter - and that's absolutely fair - but we've unlocked even more Stretch Goals this time around and that's a lot of extras that will not be available anywhere else again, folks.
The Kickstarter for issue #4 ends next Thursday (May 3) at 11:59PM east, that's one week left and still some surprises to go after. There is only one last planned Stretch Goal and once we unlock it:
I will announce a new Stretch Goal at $35K which is probably the coolest collectible I've ever done for the series!!!!!

Alright, alright, alright! How about that for good news!?
Books and cards have arrived from KrakenPrint and they look fantastic, I'm really impressed and thankful for their professional and outstanding quality. I'll post a series of beauty shots but worry not, you will be able to check these out in hand very very soon now:
Every Chronicles book will come with a DOUBLE-SIDED POSTER in full gloss finish and it's quite "the shock" to get a book with them. They look that gorgeous!
Just thought I'd share the pics with you and tell you all I'll be doing my best to ship 100% of the rewards by May 4th when I fly back to Brazil for five weeks.

THE FEW AND CURSED #4 IS CRUSHING STRETCH GOALS

Backers are killing it with the latest Few and Cursed Kickstarter and I could not be more thankful! We're unlocked Stretch Goal "Lucky Number" #7 over the weekend and at this rate we will be unlocking every single planned SG!

Hey, gang!
I've got a few things to update you all regarding the shipping of your rewards:
First and foremost, shipping addresses have been finalized and are ready for fulfillment. There won't be another opportunity to update your address as we move closer to the shipping date.
I'll start signing The Few and Cursed issues 1, 2 and 3 (over 600 comics!) plus the 321: Fast Comics and Too Good to Be True books this week and that will all get done in the next few days. Those are the good news.
Bad news though is a delay with the printer. As per their own project manager "I haven't been able to get them to confirm the shipping date but I just found out that the books are in bindery and the factory has assured us that they are doing everything they can to meet the new deadline (21st)."
The books were supposed to have arrived here in Florida by the 15th and when I was notified they were behind schedule I gave them an extra week until the 21st. I will trust their assurance and I will do everything on my end to speed everything up to have these books out to you guys by the end of the month.
On behalf of KrakenPrint and myself, I apologize for the delay... I do trust Kraken will deliver a top-quality product as they always have done so and at this point I can only hope they will make good on their revised schedule.
I will keep you all updated as per usual and ask you all to trust me when I say your rewards will be sent out and delivered.
With that said, this delay means some, if not most, will not get their Chronicles rewards before The Few and Cursed #4 Kickstarter ends and that puts me in the position of asking a little bit of faith from you all.
We're doing phenomenally well thanks to a lot of you that have already pledged and pushed us this far but I know some were planning on waiting their Chronicles rewards to arrive before committing to a new Kickstarter.
And I don't blame ya.
But without most of you trusting me, Fabiano and the whole crew to deliver the goods, we won't be able to finally hitting the 1.000 backers mark - something we all aspire to as a creative team on an indie book.
We've unlocked SIX STRETCH GOALS so far including an extra edition of the book in ashcan format, another Gold Signature collectible card, bookmark, fridge magnet, that's a lot of swag for your pledge. And we're now working towards another collectible card.

I know the delay sucks, I get it, but please do consider joining us on the new Kickstarter and helping us out. There is a reason I've had eight successful Kickstarters so far and that's solely the trust backers put on me to deliver and I will always go above and beyond to honor that commitment.
Also of note is the final EXCLUSIVE cover art Harvey Tolibao has done for the series with colors to come by Marvel Comics artist Juan Fernandez:
I absolutely love how this turned out and I cannot wait to see the finished cover art. I'll be back in touch as soon as all the books arrive and I can take beauty shots to share with you and start the shipping.

How about I start shipping out your rewards? How does that sound? I'm still waiting on the books, cards and other promo items to arrive from the printer but all the shipping materials are already here.
Early next week I will start prepping the shipping labels and by mid-week I hop to start putting packages together. Which brings me to the most important part of this e-mail:
SHIPPING ADDRESS CONFIRMATION
This is the LAST chance to update your shipping addresses to make sure packages are sent to the correct place. Any problems arising from a wrong address will incur new shipping fees.
If your shipping address hasn't changed or doesn't need to be updated there's nothing to be done otherwise click the BackerKit link below again and correct it accordingly by the due date:
This is a reminder for the 27 backers that have to yet fill out their BackerKit surveys.
You guys are way overdue and unfortunately if I cannot get the filled-out surveys back, BackerKit won't be able to ship your rewards - both digital and physical.
I cannot ship rewards to backers with incomplete surveys, guys, so please hit the link above and enter the e-mail address you used on Kickstarter to get another personalized survey link.
The next issue on The Few and Cursed main series has been doing phenomenally on Kickstarter and it's all thanks to your support and trust!
In less than ten days we've unlocked four stretch goals so far and we're pretty close to securing yet another beautiful collectible card to the Gold Signature series! That's already a lot of promo and exclusive items for any pledge :D

Because of the support of many of you, we've funded Few and Cursed #4 in only 7hrs and unlocked our first Stretch Goal in less than 24hrs!!!
What better way to celebrate one's birthday, am I right?
